One of our Tu members sent this to me directly. Some of Tu is kinda lurking on Fu and they are perhaps a little nervous about posting something like this.
But it’s actually kinda important to keep up with how the landscape of discussion about medicine is changing. For example, we see doctors entering the field of patient advocacy in a way that they have not in the past. That’s kinda interesting because patients generally do patient advocacy. We have a lot of experience with that, but the doctors are learning and growing that skill set in a way that might benefit us all in the future. Or, maybe it hurts us.
I keep a close eye on what they are up to.
Dr Potter’s story is pretty well known. I saw her speak last time I was in D.C.
