Tonight’s run had some time spent in zone 4. That is usually the zone where I see adrenaline spikes.
Because of that, I carried some IOB, and did not turn off my basal. I also did a little insulin before starting.
I have no idea what I did. I could never recreate it. Just did stuff that seemed right before I started, and left basal on the whole time.
You can log carbs and insulin, but you never really know what adrenaline is going to do, or how much adrenaline your body will be spitting out, or exactly how much insulin you need to counter it.
But The Force knows.
