Basal regimen with MDI..Tresiba?

It doesn’t, it was just a passing comment I thought was interesting but the paper isn’t really about insulin duration.

Okay. I am curious if Tresiba has an issue with smaller doses. I have heard some people say they take it twice a day, which seems strange for Tresiba. But you never know if they have discovered something with their duration.

I really think it’s possible, I’ve read lots of comments about it not lasting into the afternoon which was my experience with it. At least for me, my basal needs are not higher in the afternoon on Levemir or when pumping, so I think there’s something to this.
