That is absolutely the most reasonable thing to do. However… 
… I’m kind of combining things here. I’ve been in manual with suspend on low for about 9 or 10 months. I am happy enough doing that, I just needed a break. I’ve also been threatening to give Auto Mode another try for some time now. So I’m doubling up and getting things done.
