Tidepool Paid Study: Women’s’ Period Impacts

Saw this in an email from Tidepool and thought it may have some interest to women here:

Women’s health and diabetes is core to the work of the Tidepool Period Project. We need more participants for a paid research opportunity that will help deepen our understanding of how periods impact diabetes management. In partnership with our friends at Diabetes Center Berne (DCB), we are conducting a study to explore how menstruation impacts diabetes.

We need you if you are:

  • 18 or older,
  • live with type 1 diabetes,
  • live in the U.S.,
  • use a CGM along with an insulin pump and
  • track your cycles.

The study can take about an hour, and you will receive $100 for your time. Your data is hugely impactful in helping us understand the effect of menstrual cycles on diabetes management.

Fill out the survey here

Before starting the survey on your computer, please make sure to upload your diabetes data to your Tidepool account and have your period data handy. Please contact tpp@tidepool.org if you have any questions.
