Not sure if diabetes has stopped me from trying anything. I do wonder how we managed before CGMs though. It is so awesome we know what direction we are heading.

This is such an underappreciated comment. I run into people from time to time that are frustrated by the fact that the CGM isn’t right on the money with the current blood sugar, when I think the real value of the CGM is knowing whether you are trending up, down, or sideways so that you can intervene at the right time. It is great when the number is correct, but knowing your trend is very important in my experience helping my son manage this condition.
