This has been discussed a little bit on FUD, I think. But this article describes how there may be a link between C19 and an increase in diabetes diagnoses.
Not sure what to make of this. Don’t really know if there is causality or if it is just some anomaly in the recent numbers, but it was interesting nonetheless.

Well, maybe I should add a “nevermind” to this post. I looked at the guy who was behind it. The researcher - Ziyad Al-Aly - has also published studies that PM air pollution causes diabetes.
I guess if you look hard enough at the numbers, you can make anything into anything.
Not totally discrediting the discussion, but I am much more suspect on it now.
