very cool, especially how they get the vaccine into the honeybee eco system. Thankfully not a syringe, that would be an “interesting” job.

So cool! I’m on track to get my first hive in the spring and officially become a beekeeper (not counting the enormous hive that lived for years in our bedroom wall). There are so many different diseases affecting honeybees now (and so many treatments that beekeepers have to perform to maintain healthy hives) – a vaccine is a step in the right direction.
