Basal Discussion Deep Dive for Everyone

My Dexcom graph in the post above does fly in the face of prevailing basal guidance. All of the prevailing T1D guidance says that the correct basal rate keeps you level. If you take more, you’ll supposedly trend downward and keep going. If you take less, you’ll supposedly trend upward and keep going.
