Advice re Claim Question

I have to provide my plan with Canadian clinical research that supports the use of Ozempic the context of Type 1 Diabetes. I cannot find anything that would be deemed Canadian clinical research. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can answer this so that I might have a shot at getting some financial assistance?

I would reach out to the manufacturer for the necessary related information or links to the info. If it’s out there, they have it., and it’s in their best interest to keep you as a paying customer.

@jo_jo a few studies going on but not yet published. Others are recruiting now.

I hope these help you, here’s what I found:

Here is a case study:

And this study at McGill might have ongoing updates, if your doctor can help you out:

I’ll look for more and post if relevant.

Thank you so much! The question on the form specifies Canadian, I haven’t read these yet, so I’m not sure if they are, but will do so as soon as I’m home. I appreciate your help!

The ongoing study at McGill I listed last, above, is Canadian, but there’s no public info yet.

Here’s a review paper of GLP-1 use in T1Ds, conducted by McGill

And I believe Canada was one of the 17 countries that had patients in the ADJUNCT ONE and TWO trials of GLP1s in those with T1D. Not quite a Canadian study, but might help you. https://dom-pubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/dom.14532

Good luck!
