Not surprised that there are no active postings about CKD / kidney disease, because now that I am confronted with it I have learned that there is pretty much NO WAY to actively recover from AKI / acute kidney injury events. Latest injury was caused by a recurrent GI bacterial infection, whose origin has not been found after two years of investigation by colorectal, urology, nephrology, infectious disease specialists. Darn it. With my 56 years (after juvenile onset T1D) and no other measurable “complications”.
