I have 2 daughters.
I was diagnosed with diabetes in the first weeks of my first pregnancy in 2007. Been using insulin since then. Seem to typically have a fairly mild type of insulin deficient diabetes. Antibody negative. But we do have family history of allergies and autoimmune disorders. I am hypothyroid since 2000, unknown cause.

My daughters also have higher than normal blood sugars, which have responded well to low carb diet. Given that we all have something off, I am suspecting we could well be mody. RFX6-MODY, is my current suspect.

I follow the teachings of Bernstein. I am active in the Grit Community.

I believe in the importance of normal blood sugars.
