Since August 2022, as a side effect of Immunotherapy for melanoma, I became T1D. So, although i am elderly (71), I am a new T1D, and have much to learn. My personal support team includes my wonderful husband, our daughter, the world’s best son-in-law, and two perfect teenage grandsons. I also have awesome friends, and a great Endocrinologist, and Diabetes Educator/Pump Trainer. I am a very lucky person!
