Hi! I’m Michelle, a single business owner and a California native (Central Coast). Empty nester to three kids and Grandma to two (so far!). 5/21/18 I was taken to the ER with DKA and subsequently diagnosed with T1D/LADA. With 20/20 hindsight I am amazed how I didn’t see it. After a lot of hard work and an endo that was simply amazing! my diabetes is under control. My A1C was a 6.0! on 4/24/24. Regardless, I am still learning and appreciate this community and forum.
