I’m the mother of 5 children, 4 girls and 1 boy. Ages 22, 20, 13, 10, 9
I was diagnosed T1 just over ten yrs ago at the age of 30. I have been on Omni Pod for 8 yrs and Dexcom for 7yrs.
Currently in an insurance loop hole and had to figure out how to keep my dex running. I am happy to say I have Finally mastered the transmitter battery change for G4 and G5, have yet to get my hands on a G6.
I’m always looking to build my diabetic community connections. Without this, I wouldn’t be healthy today. Everything I know I have learned from a fellow T1 in one forum or another.
If in need of a rebuilt transmitter feel free to reach out to me. I’m one that truly believes in paying it forward!!
No question is stupid, feel free to ask. I have been using Xdrip for over a year now, so I may be able to offer some direction if needed.
I also look forward to learning more about possibly building a DIY loop.
