Type 1 since August 1981. No history of Type 1 in my known family. Bit, I did not know my father until recently via DNA tests. Now I know he had auto-immune disorder. So, lucky me.

To date, I have not suffered from neuropathy or retinopathy. Whoopee! My feet are still very sensitive and my eyes are in good shape.

I started with the G6 and graduated to G7 last December. I do not use a pump as I am not confident with the CGM readings yet.
