Diagnosed Dec 2016 as Type 1 LADA at age 56. Was originally being treated as T2. Didn’t truly accept until late 2020. Last A1C 9.5 and traces of protein in urine. Had higher A1C of 11+ when being treated as T2. Now that I’ve accepted, time to get serious. Starting Omnipod in next two weeks.
