I was diagnosed as Type 1 at age 8, in 1978. After 40 years, I’ve been through it all. Urine testing, SDI, BG Monitors with 5 minutes for a result, MDI, Pumps, CGMs, you name it. Through it all, no major complications (yet) and have learned, it just a small part of the life you live.
