Diagnosed T1 in 1991 at age 31. Since then every day is a slug fest; lottery; crapshoot. All the ensuing tech, monitoring, pumps, improved insulin formulations, has been welcome and useful, but in the end this is how I sum up the endless journey to find a definitive method that will master my condition:

Some things you can’t find out; but you will never know you can’t by guessing and supposing: no, you have to be patient and go on experimenting until you find out that you can’t find out.
