T1DM came into my life in 1982. It’s challenged me, enhanced my creativity, improved my health behaviors and inspired daily self care behaviors. I think farther ahead, thoroughly prepare for everything and do my best to thrive.

I also am the birth parent of two amazing adults, a cancer survivor, have osteoarthritis, autoimmune thyroid disease and food allergies related to mast cell activation syndrome.
