For his 11th birthday (instead of receiving his letter from Hogwarts) my son was diagnosed in 2020 with T1D. Finding out and adjusting to the new normal, with doctor and hospital visits, during the coronavirus pandemic didn’t help. Gladly, it was the beginning of summer, so school’s out and the child can sleep in after nighttime lows/highs. Our family will get used to it, like so many other have. I hope this forum will help and perhaps I can have some positive impact here, too.
