# Will Samsung Gear S3 Smartwatch work with Nightscout and or xDrip+

@Davidriccio. I don’t believe it will, because Samsung uses a different OS than WearOS. If somehow you do get it to work, I would be especially interested in the how, as i do like that watch.

You could always take a look at the NightScout/XDrip website. Who knows, maybe someone has finally cracked the Tizen OS.

@Davidriccio I think you can get readings on it by using the app Wearable Widgets. If you Google “wearable widgets and xDrip” I think you’ll find instructions.

Edit: as a matter of fact, instructions are on this forum
