# University of Alberta Starts the Mozobil Phase-I Clinical Trial

That would be great. Still, it’s a bit frightening to to take down our immune system to start with.

They are still looking for early diabetics only.

It would be interesting if they combined it with @docslotnick’s CNIP: [The Cellular Networking, Integration and Processing (CNIP) Project: a potential cure](https://forum.fudiabetes.org/t/the-cellular-networking-integration-and-processing-cnip-project-a-potential-cure/3276). Suppress the immune system, convert alpha cells into alpha+beta cells, then boost the immune system again.
