# The manual pancreas

The orange line was the non-diabetic’s.

I don’t remember the specifics for that one, it was years ago. But in general I like to be dropping before I eat sweet stuff. And I also over-bolus for sweets.

So more insulin than I need and taken ahead of time is the trick.

There’s this from the Church of AndroidAPS:

It describes the same technique used generally in open loop, including MDI, contexts.
