15 years for trials and FDA approval? This is ridiculous. How about a fast track when it comes to a cure?

Totally agree. If there’s some approach that’s proven to be tested enough and verified to be a “cure” (for any disease), it should be fast tracked. I’m talking weeks instead of years. By doing so could save lots of lives.

I saw this recently. But it seems like this approach WILL take at least 5-10 years; current cell transplants often stop working after 5 years, so you’d have to show they’re better than that, or at least as good, before a cell treatment would be approved.
