I went to [https://www.tandemdiabetes.com/support/resources/documents](https://www.tandemdiabetes.com/support/resources/documents) to look up something in the user manual and discovered a document for [CIQ 7.9](https://www.tandemdiabetes.com/docs/default-source/user-guide/user-guide-tslimx2-control-iq-7-9-mgdl-en-us-aw1014562.pdf?sfvrsn=6844c7d7_4).
Anyone know what Control-IQ+ is and how it differs from Control-IQ?

I don’t use tandem, but the functions of iq+ are on pages 312-331 of the ref’s document for anyone familiar with it.

I am using Control-IQ on my “just out of warranty” t:slim X2 so I’m more interested in what the difference is between IQ and IQ+ (if its more than just a name change). I didn’t learn anything from a quick read of the manual.

I did a quick read. I think it is Tandem wanting Control IQ+ to sound more sexy than Control IQ.

Thanks for the two reviews by @CarlosLuis and @jim26! I read thru trying to find a comparison of the two and didn’t see one, but thought someone using or more familiar with Tandem might see something. Can’t help think @jim26 has the right take on it: “Hey, it’s an updated version, let’s add a plus sign!” No steak, so “sell the sizzle!”
