The administration has proposed ending pbm rebates on federal health plans such as Medicaid and called on congresss to pass legislation to do the same on private insurance plansā¦ an idea which weāve discussed many times on the forumā¦ he didnāt go into details during the sotu speech of the mechanics of the legislation, as they typically donāt during sotu
In my opinion the pbm rebates are the single most important factor in fixing the problemā¦ the crux of the issue of dysfunctional drug prices here in the USA
Will he be able to get that through congress or is this issue too polarized as well?
We can only hopeā¦ to my knowledge no bills have been introduced that tackle the subject yetā¦
