# Sick child and a quick note of thanks!

We have had a bit of a rough time these past 10 days with my son being quite sick, and his insulin needs doubled or tripled and varying like a gyrating dervish.
It has been wonderful to receive so many messages of support in the meantime! I cannot express how good it feels, after 6 or 7 days of constant pressure (Murphy’s law means that work schedules are difficult at the same time), to see a kind message from a friend flash on my phone!
So thanks so much to all of my D friends here! Your messages mean a lot.

Praying @Kaelan feels better soon! I’ve been dealing with a sick baby for about that same length of time - I can’t even imagine throwing diabetes and work into the mix. Hang in there!
