# Sensor restarts

Why would the xDrip+ app try to re-start my sensor when that option is NOT checked? I am confused. I still have a day left with this sensor but now because the stupid re-start failed, I popped my transmitter out so I can officially re-start it a day early. (Which I easily did using my insurance card…I laugh every time I do this, I don’t know why…LOL) Any suggestions? Does this mean the sensor failed in some way?

I think you can go to Preemptive restarts. Click on it. The default is to restart sensor **before** the session ends. So unclick this, I think.

Aha!! I found this and unclicked it. I will let y’all know how it goes…
