“Specifically, the German study found that **31 percent** of the kids screened were identified as “high-risk” for developing T1D through the presence of two or more key islet autoantibodies”
Seems quite high, right? From the summary of the original article:
“280 children ( **0.31%** ) had 2 or more islet autoantibodies” 🤔
