I put a new Dash pod on yesterday (side of left thigh) and when I move the wrong way the insertion site is rather painful, a burning/stinging sensation. Nothing obviously wrong in the pump window. Maybe I hit a nerve?? What I am wondering is whether Insulet will replace this one if I change it out? I do have a bit of a stockpile so that’s not an issue but…I sure hate to waste one. Thanks for any thoughts on this situation!

I would change it. No sense being uncomfortable for 2 more days.

I think they will replace it for you.

Sometimes there are problems - pods have an occlusion, they fall off, or whatever. Those get replaced. This seems like it falls into a reasonable category for replacing.

I have not had too many problems getting replacements.
