Thank you for cross posting @joshualevy. Really sad about the Encapsulated Beta Cell trial, another great idea waiting for the engineering challenge to be solved.

The coffee trial is a great conversation starter. Unfortunately, being required to drink Starbucks may be seen as cruel and unusual punishment. /s

And would become equally as expensive as caring for the disease itself. Lol

This trial will vindicate my daily 16-32 oz. coffee habit for the past 50 years. My kidneys are sparkling!
