There seems to be Good news from Insulet & [Health Canada](https://health-products.canada.ca/mdall-limh/information?licenceId=111065&type=active&lang=eng)… As of April 12, 2024.
I noticed a new section for [Omnipod 5 on Omnipod Canda site](https://www.omnipod.com/en-ca/what-is-omnipod/omnipod-5). (use this link for Signup for email updates)
The site - [Type1Better.com also has a posting](https://type1better.com/en/omnipod-5-first-tubeless-automated-insulin-delivery-system-approved-by-health-canada/). on the approval
Initially it looks like its being paired with Dexcom G6, but with the reduction in price on Dexcom G7 in Ontario, it seems to signal that’s not too far off the horizon.

My endo told me they’re looking at December release. Given their history of delays, I wouldn’t hold my breath. Also unclear is whether the app will be released simultaneously, or do we wait another five years for that? (Frustrated? _Me?!_)
