# Need help: XDrip+ & Nightscout

Hello, New user, got xDrip+ setup (14feb8 version), and followed instructions to get Nightscout setup on Heroku. It is up and running. However, I am getting REST API error - see screenshot. I tried changing the API-SECRET to 12 chars, 16, 40 - it appears that that is not the problem. what else could it be?

Tidepool is up and working great…

Hi @8thcross, I’m not personally super familiar with the xDrip+ setup process but here is a REST API troubleshooting guide from the Nightscout foundation that looks like it could be helpful?
