# My lunch status icon

For work we use an instant messaging platform. There are a bunch of different status icons you can use for things like out-of-office, commuting, travel, vacation, etc., etc.

I’ve seen a lot of different ones used for lunch. Depending on the person and what they like, I’ve seen anything from a soup bowl to chopsticks.

I did not really like any of them. They are all too generic and boring.

But I finally found one that is perfect and I started using it!

What’s funny is that nobody at my job knows I have the 'betes. So this icon makes absolutely no sense to anyone else!

_What does that icon mean? Are you having lunch at the stock market? Are you doing day-trading during lunch?!?_

I think it’s a fun secret code. It’s only for those of us in the know! 😉

Oof, and don’t I know! 😂 Lunch is the hardest meal for me to prevent that spike!

So much less stress….sometimes you just want a donut on food day vs a 🥕 🥕 🥕 stick….”I brought something you can eat”.
