I read the two articles Michel posted about T1Ds and gut bacteria. That was interesting.

So I was intrigued when I ran into this article on Metformin and gut bacteria (again!):

Very interesting… particularly when considering that many T1s are now being treated with metformin in addition to insulin therapy. I plan to discuss this with my doc at my next appointment…
