# Is Epstein-Barr virus also possibly linked to T1 diabetes?

I am just right now wondering if this activation mechanism of Epstein-Barr could also be linked to T1 diabetes. There is no suggestion to it in any of the articles I have read so far. But… wondering.

I’ve often wondered if there was a link between lupus and t1d. I have both. Lupus was diagnosed first.
