# Golimumab Update

I just posted a blog which is a general update to research on Golimumab (sold as Simponi). There are three clinical trials underway right now:

Very interesting write-up, @joshualevy, thank you!

I would be very surprised if it was effective in any way for long-standing T1Ds, but who knows. The other two trials should be interesting!

I wonder what the long-term consequences of TNF-alpha inhibition could be. TNF-alpha is a pretty important factor in the immune system.
