# Funding sources to run fudiabetes

tudiabetes has corporate sponsors who email fundraising ads to buy their products in order to keep the tudiabetes site running.

I’ve been receiving these emails as well. I find it shady because clearly this is not the best option for all people with diabetes…

@vprediabetic Sorry for not seeing your topic until recently, the reason we are able to run without corporate sponsorship is simple. Nobody works for FUD. Everyone is a volunteer and @michel pays for everything out of his own pocket, and we buy Michel expensive wine. It is a truly lovely system. So to answer your question, the reason we don’t have sponsors is because we are run on wine (and volunteers)
