# Freestyle Libre thoughts... Great when stable, but the lag is real

I’m doing some testing to try to figure out the morning BG rise that can occur with the 670G auto mode, but I’ve begun tracking the Libre as well. I figured I would put up a log if anyone wants to see how it holds up compared to actual BG as well as the Medtronic Guardian. I tested 10 minutes apart and 5 minutes apart, and what I saw was great accuracy with stable blood sugar. As soon as I had my coffee and began to rise, my BG left both sensors in its dust. I did have to help the Guardian get caught up, but the Libre pulled itself up on its own. It does seem to be more energetic than my Guardian, and I do love the scanning part… Fits great with the “part woman, part machine” theme I’m aiming for. 😃
