Fears about my new Libre 3 Plus sensor shipment?

I have an order of Libre 3 Plus sensors arriving today…….can I trust that they are not defective, have been screened for accuracy???

With all new sensors, I follow the principal of trust but verify. On the first day, I do finger sticks before exercise, any time the sensor is showing unexpected rapid changes and before at least one meal. I’m conservative so I also do a finger stick before breakfast to make sure that the sensor and the glucose monitor are close enough (within 20% or 20 points whichever is greater).

Since you can’t calibrate a Libre 3 Plus, you should call for a replacement if it isn’t accurate.

I got my 6 new Libre 3 sensors and they have a website but I called and read each ‘’’serial number for each of my new sensors. to verify that they were not defective. Imagine ‘abbott does not ascertain that all new sensors they mail to people are functional. I have to call or check the website each time I get 6 new sensors. What poor quality control!!!
