According to the attached article, it seems the Blind Cave Tetra fish has overcome T2 diabetes/Insulin Resistance. Evolution at work for this subspecies? It’s an interesting observation if nothing else.

Thinking we should all hope to be a cavefish, or at least have their ability to shrug off insulin resistance.
