Guys:
This is going nowhere. We are pretty hands-off with this area, but I am asking you to do the following:
- Do not go personal in the discussion
- do not deal in generalities "you of the left"or “you of the right”: they are as insulting. The only YOU here are the people in this thread.
- be factual with _real_ facts
- be honest, not partisan
If we can’t have good, open, sincere and FRIENDLY discussions on this topic we’ll close this thread.

Another thing I think he could have done better is taken a more unifying tone. That would have been more becoming of a leader… he struggles with that…
But in his defense a lot of people have made it pretty hard to do and are going to be critical of him no matter what he does at this point so he may just think it’s not worth the effort to step outside his comfort zone… but it would be better if he’d rise above that
