# Celiac disease and Cystic Fibrosis Drug

I thought this was an interesting research finding, though only tangentially related to T1D:

There is also a celiac vaccine in Stage II clinical trials:

It’s an interesting target for a vaccine given that you can essentially prevent all disease symptoms by avoiding gluten. But I suppose that avoiding getting “glutened” is actually a pretty nice and important thing for people who have celiac.
