# API \_Secret Failed Authentication

Has anyone experienced receiving messages in NS of unsuccessful API\_Secret authentication requests, when it was NOT you that caused the error?

I received the message a few minutes ago. Wasn’t me. I have set the school Nurse’s up with their own secure login/link for viewing Liam’s BGs in NS so it’s not then either.

Some device call possible causing the issue? Potential hacking attempt?

No, I have not. It does sound like someone is attempting unauthorized access. Can you track the location of the IP address of the request?

Yes, I should have thought to do that! It looks like somehow the call came from Liam’s school so I’ll reach out to the Nurse! ty for the prompt!
