Hi, I actually don’t have any personal experience with college athletics and T1 (I tried rowing for 2 weeks and didn’t like the team dynamics)… BUT I have 2 resources that may be helpful!

- [The Diabetic Athlete’s Handbook](https://www.amazon.com/Diabetic-Athletes-Handbook-Sheri-Colberg/dp/0736074937/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1517840555&sr=8-1&keywords=diabetic+athlete%27s+handbook) - very handy, lots of info for even people who aren’t athletes
- [Type 1 Diabetic Athletes facebook group](https://www.facebook.com/groups/Type1DiabeticAthletes/?fref=nf) - lots of smarty pants people on here who know a LOT about how to manage exercise as a diabetic - I realize your son may not be into facebook but you could check it out for him 🙂

Welcome to the forum, @allison!

We have a lot of people here who are experts at managing diabetes with high level athletic activities, btw. The present forum is a great source of peer info.
