# Admelog side effects

Hi! I’m new on here and joined to possibly get answers about something that I’ve been desperately researching with no luck. I am on Admelog and have been taking it for the last 6 months. Since then I have had a TERRIBLE taste in my mouth and in my sinuses. My urine and bowel movements smell terrible as well. I can only describe it as a sweet, acidic, metallic, chemical smell and taste. I have no ketones present. Nothing makes it better or worse. It’s ALWAYS there. I can’t take the long acting insulins such as Basaglar and the like due to extreme swelling of my extremities. Has anyone experienced similar with Admelog? TIA
